Almost all of us have never experienced a lockdown like this before, and our bodies will be responding to this unknown situation, and it’s unknowable future, as a threat. This is natural, and we are bound to feel anxious, and bound to impact this on the people around us. If you suffer from anxiety about becoming infected with COVID-19
This is a recording of an hypnotic script developed by the International College of Clinical Hypnosis Practitioners (my Alma Mater). It is based on a 2020 study into the efficacy of Hypnosis and Mindfulness in support of the body's natural immune response and healing processes in response to the Covid 19 epidemic.
It includes deep, hypnotic, progressive relaxation which you may find dissociating. For most, this is a pleasant experience, however it should not be listened to if you suffer from panic attacks, or suffer moderate or severe Depression.
I recorded this for people suffering anxiety about the Coronavirus. Please do not play while driving. Find a comfortable, quiet place to sit or lie uninterrupted for about 40 minutes.
